Mr. Elio Castañuela, founder of Diversified
Technical Services, Inc., is a highly motivated Information Technology
(IT) professional whose direct computer related experience spans over 40
years of progressive involvement in both management and technical
applications. He possesses a Bachelor of Arts degree in
Mathematics/Physics and a graduate degree in Education and Mathematics
from San Jose State University. Subsequent to completion of his
formal education, Mr. Castañuela has experienced a successful career in
the IT industry where his career progressed from a computer
Programmer/Analyst position to President and Chief Executive Officer of
his own professional technical services company. His career has
included experience in: research and development in missile and space
programs; automation of commercial air traffic control systems;
automated missile guidance systems development; artificial earth
satellite ephemeris development; computer operating system research and
development; management in both scientific and commercial communities
and managing and directing a professional IT services company.

In May, 1980, Mr. Castañuela founded
Diversified Technical Services, Inc. (DTSI), an IT support services
company providing technical computer services primarily to agencies of
the Federal Government. As President and Chairman of DTSI, Mr.
Castañuela is directly involved in all aspects of company operations,
sales, budgeting, technical presentations, proposal preparation,
contract compliance, finance and customer liaison. DTSI has
successfully completed and delivered a variety of highly visible and
technically challenging support services projects with the Federal
Government since its inception to include: Patriot and Hawk Missile
deployment training, airborne surveys in the State of Alaska and Radar
engineering services. DTSI has performed these projects in all
areas of the United States for a wide variety of Federal Government
customers. Mr. Castañuela’s vision and leadership has guided DTSI
to the successful position it enjoys today as an IT services provider.
